After the awkward encounter with Iris, I returned to my room for a moment before being informed that it was time for lunch in the great palace dining room with a few other members of the royal guard , who preferred to sit at the opposite end of the table leaving several places away between them and me, while they did their best to ignore my presence in the dining room , I decided to immediately go to my room after eating as quickly as possible, to wait for the next thing they had in store for me, since no one in here had taken the trouble to explain anything to me about what was going to happen from now on , and having nothing else to do, I lay back on the bed looking up at the ceiling and wondering when it occurred to me that it would be a good idea to get into all this mess.
