Chapter Eleven Caleb had to admit that he was a bit nervous coming to eat at Mama’s. Luckily he could concentrate on Taryn’s issues and pretend he was totally fine. Mentally kicking his ass for feeling hurt that Richard hadn’t invited him here before when he hadn’t exactly gone out of his way to introduce them to his family either, he straightened his shoulders and prepared to do the family thing. The truth was he didn’t actually have much experience in this regard. He had never taken a date “home” and had never allowed anyone he was seeing to take him home, either. Watching Richard hug his cousin Clara who stood at the hostess stand, Caleb leaned into Taryn. “Maybe Chinese would have been good, now that I think this through.” Glad to see that she was straining to keep from laughing at
