Chapter Seven Three weeks later, Taryn turned the “Closed” sign on the door of Grounded then leaned her forehead against it. It had been a long day. Early in the morning a man had come in who had, for some reason, made her uncomfortable. Something about the way he sat watching everything going on around him unnerved her. He sipped one coffee after another for long enough that Taryn seriously considered calling Caleb and asking him to stop by and tell her she was being paranoid. She hadn’t wanted to leave the shop while the man was there and so had skipped lunch, settling for a pastry. He finally left shortly after the lunch crowd thinned out.
