Chapter 6- The Encounter

Belle's Point Of View*
I was stunned because he called me. Waaa why me?
What does this man need? I need to get out of here because of my heart. I don't know what is happening to my heart. It's pumping really fast!
I slowly looked at him until our eyes met. And I was right he called me and I saw his golden eyes again which were beautiful to look at.
I woke myself up to the truth. What the hell is happening to me?
"Why?"
"Have we met before?"
I swallowed hard because of what he said.
"I think not yet."
I looked behind me when someone spoke and it was Sir Skyler.
You've fallen from heaven, Sir Skyler! He held my waist as I looked at him. Eh?
And I saw he's serious.
"Do you need anything from her?"
I saw that they were both staring at each other which I swallowed hard.
"No, please excuse my friend. He's drinking too much," said Leo.
I smiled at him with a nod because he mild the tension between Reed and Skyler.
"Let's go, Belle," Sir Skyler said.
And when I last looked at Reed, he still looked at me strangely as if I was about to be eaten alive. I just ignored it and Sir Skyler and I turned away.
"Sir, thank you."
"No problem, once Reed shows up again, stay away immediately or call me immediately."
"Maybe his night was ruined because of my face."
"Nah, you're beautiful in our eyes and that won't change."
I smiled and so did he.
"Don't come near him. He's dangerous."
"Okay."
"Okay, let's go back. They're looking for you."
We started walking but he was still holding my waist. I just let it go.
"Ayieeee! Where are they from?" they happily said and that's my colleagues at work.
"Look at Sir Skyler's hand, still on the waist of our friend."
"What is that, is it a dream come true, Sis?" Christina said.
My face turned red and I immediately shook my head.
"No, it's not like that. He just saved me."
"Did something happen to Belle?"
"Forget that, he's just drunk," I smiled at them. And they nodded.
An hour had passed and they were already dancing in the middle of the stage which made me laugh while looking at them and I don't know why Sir Skyler hasn't come there yet to dance with our colleagues.
"Sir, you can dance with them too because today is your special night."
"Nah, I don't know how to dance."
I frowned because of what he said.
"You are the best dancer in our batch and then you will say that you don't know how to dance, Sir."
He laughed shyly.
"That's just fake news."
I immediately approached him and put my both hands beside his head and I didn't notice that our faces were so close.
"That's not fake news because I saw it with my own eyes."
When I realized I was surprised and even he was also surprised by what I did.
"I'm so sorry, Sir."
"Oh no... it's okay with me."
I slowly straightened up and looked at Sir and we both just laughed.
"You know, my wish will become true."
My eyes widened and I looked at him even more.
"What is your wish, Sir?"
"It won't come true if I say it."
"Whatever your wish is, I hope it will come true."
He smiled at me.
"Ah, I have one more wish."
"What's that? I don't have any money."
"Nah, it's not like that. I wish you could call me Skyler or Sky. Don't, Sir, because that makes me look old."
My eyes widened at what he said.
"Yes? Ah eh..."
"Even if it's just the two of us, that's what you call me. Like now."
I smiled and nodded. "Okay, Skyler."
He smiled and held my hand which made my eyes widen and he leaned his head on my shoulder.
"Let's stay like this for a while, Belle."
"Okay."
I just smiled. Maybe he just has a headache or maybe he's tired so he needs to rest first.
I could feel the coldness of his hand but he said it was his normal temperature.
So I didn't ask again and he was whiter than me and he said he was from the North and there was no heat in their place. That's why he looks pale and he doesn't even see the sun because he hates the sun. He doesn't have family here because everyone is in the North, so I can feel his sadness.
Just like my Dad who is in another country. He hasn't been home for five years and is an OFW there. But in a month I can talk to him once or twice because he is very busy at work.
"You're thinking deeply again."
I looked at Skyler who was still close his eyes.
"I miss my Dad."
He woke up and looked at me.
"If you miss him, you can hug me so you can feel that he is here by your side."
I smiled and hugged him tightly without thinking twice.
"I miss you, Dad."
He also hugged me back. I feel comfortable. I am very grateful because he is here by my side.
Reed's Point Of View*
"Reed, you're drunk."
"Did you know that nerd? I just saw that Nerd, maybe she will just use you for her own interest."
"She's not that kind of person and I know it. She said she was Beta like me."
"Beta? Is that a Beta? Why do I feel different about that one."
"You're just drunk and maybe your Beloved is nearby so you're feeling confused. You know that I don't feel the same way as Alpha and Omega."
I held my head because I was dizzy from the amount I had drunk.
"It looks like I'm already drunk and it's better than what happened to me earlier when I felt like my brain was about to burst with pain."
"Don't you know what your beloved looks like?"
"It's so f*cking dark that night and how can I know that thing?"
"Yes indeed."
I looked at where the nerd was sitting and my eyes widened because I saw that the two were hugging.
Suddenly my heart hurts because of what I saw. I stood up and Leo was surprised by what he saw.
Damn, why am I upset now? Maybe I'm disgusted by the look on that nerd's face.
"Damn!"
And for a moment I lost consciousness, probably due to drunkenness.
