892 Words
The club is wild tonight. She observes the people around her, and they seemed to be out of this world, after a few shots of god-knows-what and whatever kind of drug that causes euphoria and pleasure. She sees that everyone has gone crazy for the Electro Music. Everyone, is in a state of ecstasy, except her. The reason she’s observing from her seat is to see who can resist the social urges that people have. That and to find the lovely street magician who, along with his friend, had conned that poor bastard one hundred dollars out of him. A few guys have already hit on her and even though she sees this as repulsive, she knows that they can become her puppets in a matter of seconds. After all, she is in a skin tight dress and looks sensual. But s*x is the last thing on her mind. As the club DJ plays the latest popular EDM song, she sees that the dance floor gets even more crowded. Women are yelling with so much excitement, while the men are closing in. Lurking for their next one night stand. As the beat drop is getting ready to close in, Minerva laughs. She is amazed on how a song can make a bunch of humans into animals. She continues to observe the dance floor, and just as the beat drops, she spots him within the crowd. ****** The beat drops and the dance floor goes wild. Women are jumping up and down, sloppy-like, and men begin to grind on women. As he walks through the dance floor, Yenzi scourers around for any possible rapists or pickpocketers. Ironic. The good thing about this security gig is that he can go unnoticed within the masses. Just the way he likes it. He continues to walk around unnoticed, when he sees a woman sitting down, observing him during the craziness. She seems to be the only person to maintain herself, when the beat dropped, other than him and the employees. He starts to approach her, and he begins to notice the minor physical features: her raven colored hair is in shapes of loose, beautiful curls that cover her shoulders and breasts; she has a lovely olive skin tones that causes her eyeliner to stand out, in which, allows her icy, light blue eyes to illuminate under the darkness and flashing lights of the club. Her attire consists of a short, black, skin tight, dress that has a deep V that exposes her cleavage. Even if the club is loud with music, Yenzi feels utter silence as he looks at this gorgeous dame, regardless that her stare makes him a bit uneasy and nervous. “Miss, are you okay?” he asks her once he is in front of her. “Why, yes I am. Thank you for asking. The club is very active tonight, isn’t it?” she asks. “Why yes, it is,” he tells her. “But the crowd or music is not the reason you are here.” “What makes you say that?” “Well, for starters, you appear to be the only person, aside from the staff and myself, to be immune to the vibrating sensations of the DJ’s music.” As Yenzi speaks, Minerva can’t help but to be amused and satisfied that this man can hint when someone looks out place, even when they’re dressed to deceive. “I’m Minerva” she says as she extends her hand, for a proper introduction. “Yenzi” he says as he takes and shakes her hand, but then surprises her by placing a kiss on said hand. “The pleasure to meet you, is all mine” he says as he smirks at her. A bit flustered, Minerva then asked Yenzi “So tell me, Yenzi, what is a good looking man, such as yourself doing, working at a hellhole like this?” “Ma’am, where are you manners!? This is my line of work, you are talking about!” Yenzi says in a dry, but, mockingly manner. Minerva, in return, only gives him a disproving look. Yenzi laughs and replies “Okay, this isn’t exactly the type of career that you would brag to your peers or family members, but it’s exciting from time to time. It has its moments.” “An example being?” Minerva questions him, just as some commotion begins to ensue, which causes both of them to look towards the direction of the noise. “Such as that.” Yezi replies, not looking at her. “Excuse me.” He then says as he walks toward the chaos. “I SAID LET HER GO, DAVID!!! SHE DOESN’T WANT TO GO HOME WITH YOU!!!” yelled a woman in a gold sequin dress, as she pulls another woman that looks to be a bit dazed and confused, towards her. “f**k OFF, PRISCILLA!! AMY DOESN’T SEEM TO LOOK LIKE SHE MINDS!” David yelled back her her. Now, normal security will immediately go and stop the commotion, so that the crowd doesn’t panic. However, Yenzi loves a good opportunity for a quick con-game. He takes about 30 seconds to study his target, only then, did he realize, he had to make a move or this heap of trouble will brew into a scalding mess.
