After the air in the beastbearers village has completely returned to being breathable, Megan and I were greeted by rushing reinforcements arriving too late on the scene. Remnants of smoke from the explosions were still evident in the sky but judging how these enchanters became completely unaffected now, tell me that they already retired from being dangerous.
Beastbearer soldiers and typical unharmed enchanters ran towards Megan, completely ignoring my existence. The moment they inspected his body and searched for any visible wounds, I felt a
