TESSA POV
Adam had been in town for a week now and things had been going pretty good. Tyler and him haven't had any more run ins which was a good sign. Adam was behaving himself and grudgingly taking the jobs that Tyler was assigning him to. And they really were the worst jobs in town.
And I started to get back into fighting form. Tyler was finally waking up early enough to come jogging with me. And I was now able to do one and a half laps of the territory which I was actually happy about. It was about time I was improving. And when we got back to the packhouse Adam was just leaving for work.
"Have fun on council duty today." Tyler says.
"You have me picking up litter and emptying the public bins in town. How the hell can I have fun with that?" Adam asked.
