Rita's Pov "I never expected that today was going to be a long day entirely", l was so stressed at this point. I picked up my bag and l was on my way out of the meeting hall because the program finally came to an end and so l could go home when the rain started so heavily. "Oh my goodness, this rain did not even give a sign that it was going to rain at all", l said to myself as l looked through the window which was beside me. No one knew that it was going to rain. Everyone in the program was surprised. I do not enjoy attending programs about marriages but my so-husband always forces me to attend them claiming that l would learn how to handle his kind of person better. If that is what my husband wants l would gladly do it for him then because l love him a lot even though he is not reciprocating the love back. I guess he is just a shy person and every man likes their woman to be the only caring person. The program was a nice one and l learned a lot but they do not include the fact that some men like my husband do not romance especially s*x just to give their wives comfort. My husband always sees it as a pain for ladies to deal with so he does not want me to go through that pain of s*x and he does not want the pain of labor while giving birth for me at all. "Are you sure that all the men have s*x with their wives?", A lady who was right beside me asked one of the people who gave us a talk during the program. The speaker was just around my side to answer some of the questions she was not able to answer during the program. I looked at the lady who asked the question beside me. "Why would she even ask such a question?", l wondered but l did not respond publicly. "Are you sure that your husband is not cheating on you?", The speaker who was to answer her question asked her. I was trying to even imagine what the speaker was trying to insinuate. "Ma'am, ever since l got married to my husband he only touches me once in a month and it just does not make sense to me at all. My female friends do tell me how much their husbands even fiances always make out with them often while mine is programmed. I hope l am not missing anything at all. Or could l be the problem?", The lady was just confused. "Do you have a child for your husband?", The speaker questioned her as she had her sit trying to converse with her while people were making their way out of the place already. The rain has reduced and people can manage it and go to their house. I would love to leave but l am still pretty much interested in this talk so l was just pretending to be operating my phone acting like l was not eavesdropping. "Have a child for my husband? Someone who cannot make out with me and not panic at all. My husband always ensures to use condoms" " the lady voiced out to the guest speaker. I looked at them at how extremely shocked l was. "I am so sorry but l do not have enough time to spend here with you but l would want you to pay attention to what your man does. In most cases like this l have attended to their husband's does have extra marital affairs" " the speaker said boldly to her. "Could this be true? Steven has not even touched me once. Could he be cheating on me?", l pondered. "No, there is no way that Steven would do that. I have done everything within my capacity even more and he would cheat on me? There is no way", l snapped out of my thoughts. "He is just shy and cannot reciprocate the love back but l know that he loves me", l tried to assure myself. "Hey madam", l called on the speaker who was talking to the lady beside me. "You cannot say all the men who act that way cheat. My husband is a very shy man and he does not know how to reciprocate his love back but l am so sure that he loves me", l said aloud with so much boldness. The speaker looked at me and smiled. "How many times has your man made out to you madam?", The speaker inquired. I was not expecting that question because how would l tell her that he had only made out with me once? I guess that sounds a bit weird. The lady who was beside me just kept staring at me like she was expecting me to say something. "Are we supposed to be talking about how many times husbands made out with their their wives?", l was trying to just change the topic already. There was no way l would be able to answer her question. They both kept looking at me. I just could not take it anymore l carried my bag and l stood up from my seat. "Wait madam, before you go" " the speaker interrupted me. I stooped and the speaker moved towards me. "I would advise that you keep your watch on your husband. Those men cannot stay for years in marriage with no s*x. It is even cringe to believe that" " she advises me. I looked at her like one who was saying rubbish. I did not even give her a response anymore and l went straight into the car. "You can proceed home", l instructed my driver. I saw my lawyer calling but l did not answer because l was not just in the mood to talk to him at all.
