As soon as Ace and Jeanne arrived at the mansion, they found, Zia, Kaylee and her two best friends in the kitchen helping themselves with cereals and milk.
Ace left them to go about the files he requested from his secretary and to sign some checks in his study room. When they arrived, the guard-on-duty handed him the envelope containing the files and checks his secretary had delivered the previous night.
Kristine said, "Nobody of us here knows how to cook. You and Brenda were not around."
Jeanne immediately readied the percolator to brew coffee. She had brought the excess grounded coffee beans from her condominium. She also got some ingredients from the pantry and the refrigerator to prepare breakfast for the girls.
Jeanne asked while preparing breakfast, "Where are Bernie and Paolo?"
