Nina POV
Today was the day I was leaving the hospital. I was told I was in a coma for three or so weeks, so I should be sure to take it easy, but my body felt fine because I was a wolf. Just a bit sore here and there. The weird thing is Alpha Max. The room was silent when I woke up, so I walked around. No one was there. Last night he treated me like I was precious, but he just vanished. Maybe the mate bond made him do and say those things, and he was able to regain his feelings by the morning. I sat on the couch where there was a slight drift nearby, wishing that the silence had taken me and pondering on the words my parents said in my dream.
