“Come sit.” She pulls my arm excitedly toward the big armchair and I let her push me down. My hands itch to grab her and put her in my lap. We’ve been home from the beach for about ten days and she’s been in here a lot lately. I have a feeling I know what she’s up to after the box I saw being delivered yesterday. Carlo checks all the mail carefully before she is allowed to touch it. She wanders over to the bookshelf and comes back with a binder. Holding it out, she bounces on her feet and I see her eyes shining. I chuckle. “What has you so excited Bellissima?”
“Read it please.” She fidgets with her fingers and I look at the binder cover.
