I am signing off on the last nurse we approved for Lorenzo’s care after breakfast. I was glad to have it done before we leave tomorrow for the business trip. Venita got to have a say in them also. The woman knows her business. When we return from our trip, I will meet with the bodyguards Carlo has lined up. They’ve all been vetted and will all be hired but I need to see what Carys thinks. One will follow her around primarily and I want to see them interact.
Carlo steps in “You like them all huh?”
“Yeah you did good. You don’t have to fish for compliments. I will see how they interact with her before we assign one to her.”
“Interact or see if they look interested in her?” He grins slyly and I sigh.
“Both.” I admit reluctantly only because I cannot lie to him. He always knows.
