Chloe doubled over with laughter. Tears filled her eyes and she couldn't catch her breath. Anthony, dressed in jeans and a sweatshirt, sat on the sofa in his bedroom suite and ignored her fit of hysteria. "She said, 'I thought I forgot to turn the oven off. I'll be on my way now.'" This caused Chloe to crack up all the more. "Oh, my God!" she said, swiping tears from the corners of her eyes. "Yes, well...." "I wish I could have been a fly on the wall. Are you sure she's going to come back?" "Not completely," he admitted, sending Chloe into new fits of laughter. With more love than she'd thought possible, she crossed the room and slipped down next to him on the couch. "I forgot what you could be like," she said softly.
