“Absolutely not. Absolutely not!” Rosa is practically shouting at Graham. “You are out of your mind, absolutely not.” “Rosa,” I say patiently, “it’s the best plan we have.” “You’re off your rocker too, then,” she scoffs at me before storming off. I exchange a look with Tulip. “I can go after her,” she offers quietly, looking perturbed. “I think it's a crazy plan too, but you’re right. We don’t have a lot of options.” “No,” I sigh, “I’ll go.” I glance over at Graham, who is standing awkwardly to one side, staring off into the distance. “If this is a trick, though, she will end you. And I won’t stop her.” He nods at me, but he doesn’t speak, looking lost in thought. I stalk off in the direction Rosa has gone, straight out the door to the packhouse and up the road.
