Chapter 2It’s been an exciting few days. I moved to a new city to start college, I got a new hair cut and new clothes, and I met my best friend. Daisy Rose was the first person I met in this town, and we hit it off immediately.
Despite an awkward conversation Thursday morning, we continued to make each other laugh and spent a good portion of each day together. I felt like I could say what I needed to around her and she would always understand it.
Coming from such similar backgrounds, we had a lot in common in the baggage department. She ended up becoming not just my best friend in this new city, but one of the best friends I’ve ever had. In my old town I had people to hang out with, sure.
