Chapter Twelve Erik, Jia, and four uniformed officers exited the elevator and headed to the reception desk in front of a hallway sealed by a large locked door. The receptionist ignored them for a moment as she tapped on headshots in the data window in front of her. Different-colored borders appeared around her selections.
