Chapter 7 October 1994 Gerry had considered buying a new suit. One trip through Barneys, however, was more than enough to squash that particular bug. Besides, as far as Gerry was concerned, there were far nicer things out there than the six-by-two, double-breasted, wide-lapelled atrocities the big boys were calling fashionable these days. Whatever happened to wanting to look good? Or had the straight guys got their noses so far out of joint that the only thing they found acceptable on a male frame was big, square, and ugly?
