Hera and Katherine went through their plan several times and soon, night fell. They waited till the entire palace was completely silent which meant everyone was asleep.
“Shall we?” Hera asked and Katherine nodded. Without wasting any time, the two women began getting dressed for their daring expedition.
Since they would be scaling a tall wall and all other dangerous things could be involved, they decided to dress in dark pants and tunics instead of the usual dresses to allow for better movement.
Hera and Katherine wore black cloaks and placed the hoods over their heads, shielding their faces as much as they could and now they were ready.
Hera could not help but notice Katherine letting deep breaths and her face softened as she turned to her friend.
“Hey, you okay? Nervous?” She asked
