David sat at the head of the council table, the weight of responsibility heavy on his shoulders. Around him, the other council members, including Mason and key pack leaders, discussed the recent increase in rogue werewolf activity.
"We can't afford to wait any longer," one council member stated firmly. "The rogues are becoming bolder. We need to strengthen our defenses."
David nodded in agreement, his gaze shifting to Mason and then to Riley and Alex, who sat side by side. He had watched them grow, seen their strength and determination. Now, more than ever, their safety and the pack's future rested on their readiness.
"Mason," David addressed him, his voice steady. "You know what needs to be done. It's time for Riley and Alex to complete their mating bond with you."
