I was on my way home when I received a call... pulled over and answered the call...
"Hello?"
"Ba...(Sob) Ba...(Sob) Bash... He... He... He cheated on me Bash, he cheated on me with another man"
I couldn't make out the words she was saying
"Ash, what happened who cheated on you?"
"My boyfriend he cheated on me with another man I just found out"
She has a Boyfriend? She actually had a Boyfriend?
"Where are you?"
"Home why?"
"I'm coming over. give me your address"
"Mountain hill, villa 5"
"Okay I'll be there soon"

I wasn't far from Mountain hill. It took me a half an hour to get there... I got in front of her villa... to be honest I was a bit drunk. I knocked on the door...
"Its open" She screams from inside...
I open the door, I walk through the house, everything here seems to be feminine which means the dude never slept over... I work my way up stairs... I open the door she's sitting on the floor looking at the laptop in front of her...
"Ash" I say in a low voice...
"Bash the bastard cheated on me"
She gets up...

I hug her. After a few minutes she speaks
"Bash, do you think any guy might love me one day?"
"Yes... You might not even know if someone loves you right now"
"Why doesn't he say it if he loves me?"
"He might be scared you don't feel the same way"
"How would he know, if doesn't say anything"
"Fear stops a lot of people from doing a lot of things Ash, a fear of rejection is worse than death sometimes"

"He's actually my fiancee"

"He asked me to marry him last year... Thank God we were never intimate"

All I could think about was I've been missing Ashleigh Quinn for almost half of life but she's moved on with her life
