Summer’s POV
We spent hours playing in the hospital suite after returning. But I needed a little more rest. If tonight was a repeat of last night, I should have slept throughout the day. But I am a mom first. Everything else is secondary to my kids.
It’s eerie when I go to the hospital ward. There are still only a few patients with minor injuries. There are more staff than patients. Even then, we have the whole ward cleared out by 11pm. What a turnaround from last night. Luna Lucy arrives with some pictures that the children drew for me as a way of showing their thanks.
