Melissa was more surprised to hear Abe talk to her, because he usually ignores her all the time and pretend she doesn't exist.
"H-h-he's... U-Umm- he was—I—," she faltered.
"See, he's an idiot." James straightened up Melissa's answer, since she couldn't think of a good thing to say about Abe Archer.
Abby chuckled, aloud. "They're all idiots, Miss Denver. None of them knows how to treat a woman right."
"What?" Abe eyed Abby in disbelief, after he was also offended by his executive assistant's negative opinion.
"Don't be offended, that wasn't for you." Abby whispered to Abe, trying to keep their scores with James even.
"Can you say something that doesn't fit my shoe?" Abe angrily whispered his request.
