James managed to catch Bolt, and so he had to let go of the door and hold the little happy fur baby who missed him so much, not expecting that Abe only used the puppy to trick him to free the door from his hands, so now enters Abe shouting, "Melissa! Abby!"
Melissa and Abby heard their names...from a familiar voice—not James, and so their eyes widened looking at each other to confirm their guess to each other and when they heard Abe's voice call out their names again, they raced and rushed down the stairs to find out what was happening.
