Abby was given plenty of time to sleep, eat and prepare herself before going to the station.
Glenda did what she had told the police that's why Abby can't hide her skepticism and asked, "Are you not scared that I might tell the police the truth if I go there?"
Abby and Glenda were inside the car parked near the police station, Glenda didn't answer and opened the door for Abby to leave.
Abby hopped out of her seat and went straight to the station, demanding to speak with the chief and she was received by the police station with preparedness.
It was obvious that the investigator just wanted to test her and Glenda's testimony, and her presence there had made the investigator and his team of professionals that she wasn't indeed taken away against her will.
