My eyelids stuck together as I tried to open them. Yawning, I rubbed them as I sat up and looked around the room. Sarah was nowhere to be seen, and the entire apartment was pitch black. How long had I been sleeping? I raised my arms above my head and stretched with a groan before stepping out of bed and turning on the lamp.
