Donovan I sat in my den, sipping a whiskey in the dark as I stared out over the city at night. I told myself it was just a happy coincidence that the room happened to look out in the direction of Serissa's apartment and as I stared at the lights below, I tried to decide which one was hers. The truth was, if the room had faced any other direction, I would have moved to one that was on this side of the building. It was getting late, but I was trying to think of an excuse to call her.
