Running, running as fast as I can is all I know right now… As I use the little moonlight to light my way through the large forest. As I hunch over to catch my breath. I tripped on pebbles, rocks, and wet leaves as old memories of my dead parents flash in my mind like a bolt of lightning. Hearing owls and animals then all of a sudden I hear breaking twigs and someone says “Where did that little brat run off so she can’t run that fast!” It was my father and he sounded angry and that means their catching up to me I have to run faster or they’ll catch me “There she is!” said my brother “get her!” Then they start to run in my direction. I start to run as fast as I can, holding on to Luna tightly so I don’t drop her. As I was running I was looking behind me then I felt no ground on my right foot so I fell back on my back. Too weak to move, I close my eyes again and suddenly hear footsteps thinking it is my family. I stay still and let them take me back.
