“So what happened?” Jade asked gently, putting her arm around her friend’s waist gently. “I-I’m not entirely sure. He just woke up screaming. It jolted me awake, and I was so scared that I didn’t know what to do. I tried to ask him what was wrong, but he wouldn’t tell me. He just told me it was nothing, got out of bed and went straight into the shower. He must have been in there a long time, because I ended up falling asleep waiting for him to come back out.
