Another week passed. The date of the concert was fast approaching, and to be honest, Larry had written off going backstage. The thought of seeing Geo again was enough—it would have to be. He’d go to the show, have a good time, and so what if he didn’t get to actually talk to Geo after all this time? Hell, Larry thought, I haven’t spoken to him in years. So it won’t be different from any other night. At least he’ll get to hear that glorious voice again, God. He was almost ashamed to admit he’d gone to Walmart and bought a copy of Geo’s latest CD, which was the only thing he listened to in the car now.
