"Where are we going?" Val asked she felt butterflies flutter in her stomach.
Zeke smiled. "It's a surprise." He lead her down to the lake where a blanket was waiting for them along with two baskets.
Val looked up at him and smiled. "How did you find time to do all of this?"
He laughed. "I called in the Calvary." He helped her to sit on the blanket and then started working in getting the fire going.
