Once I got home I decided to make a nice dinner for Nathan. I'm excited or him to taste my cookies.
Nathan won't be home for an hour or two.
I placed the marinated chicken in the oven and waited for it to cook. As I wait, I felt the need to pee.
After doing my business in the toilet, I was washing my hands when I noticed a pack of unused tampons and pads.
Why would there be unused packs?
Then a thought crossed my mind. A sudden chill run down my spine.
No. No. No. It can't be.. It's been a month and a half since I last had my period. And I never been late.
I quickly got out of the toilet grabbed my purse and left. Not bothered about the cooking chicken in the oven, and I ran towards the nearest drugstore.
My legs are shaking as I approach the counter.
