I woke up the next day feeling even better than the previous days. Alex was the first thing I saw and the smile couldn’t be wiped off my face as I watched her sleeping peacefully next to me. Her head was resting on my arm and she was snuggled so close to me. Her arm was wrapped around my stomach while her leg was draped over mine. This is probably the best morning I ever had… and to think that last night has been so rough for us.
I really thought it was over for us last night. She was so angry and hurt that I couldn’t tame her. She wouldn’t hear me out. She just wanted to shut me out and leave me completely.
