EMERY
It was 7 pm when I was woken up by my mum to get ready that the celebration would commence soon. I was surprised to see her still at home. They should have gone back to the alpha summit, why was she still here?. I bet my dad and brother would have gone back already, I sat upright as I stared at her.
“I am sorry son, we came as fast as we could, we are sorry that we weren't here to usher you into your 18th birthday, please forgive mum okay? We can talk about this later, let's just get you ready for your big day” she said as she helped me to get up from my bed.
I really had no words to say to her, I just went straight into my bathroom to get cleaned up, by the time I was done and came back to the room she was gone, she was nowhere to be found.
