Mariko's POV
I pulled up into the apartment's driveway, the rain pouring, luckily there was a carport that I could go under too. This type of weather made me want to cuddle with Maddie and I just cannot wait. I got out of the car and jogged around the front of my car, opening the passenger side door for Maddie.
I held my hand out to her and she took my hand as I helped her out of the car. I closed the car once Maddie made her way to the apartment entrance. I grabbed her things from the back of my car and I followed in after her until I took the lead. We stepped into the elevator. "Bella will be so happy to see you," I grinned.
"I'm sure she will be." she smiled as she hugged herself.
"Are you cold?" I asked.
"Yeah," she replied. I moved beside her and I wrapped my arm around her.
