Mariko's POV Maddie and I left the hospital earlier last night. I wanted Maddie to relax and she did. But the incident of the other day was still bothering her. I watched her as she sat at the kitchen counter, her back facing towards me. She was drinking juice and writing something in her notebook. I was standing by the recliner after I had checked my laptop bag. There was a meeting at Sternpoint that needed me, so after that meeting, I would be back home.
