-Rivanna- I could hear them talking. Not every word, but some things slipped into the living room. I didn’t like it. I feared where their conversation might lead and what Killian would reveal, along with the prince. He claimed I was his prisoner, but it was evident Killian didn't think I was. I was his prisoner, though, even though he behaved oddly toward me. However, I wouldn’t be with the prince for much longer. I palmed the rock in my pocket. I just had to wait for the right opportunity, and then I could find a way to escape. Patience is key, I reminded myself. So I forced myself to be still, and when I heard the prince come into the living room again, I quickly closed my eyes, pretending to be asleep.
