I gave Kino Sloane a boring look. I am quite relieved that I was able to manage my expression before he finally realizes that he got me baffled over there.
I don’t know why he’s suddenly flirting. Did he think I was that easy?
He stared at me with his brown eyes while his lips are curved in an annoying grin. I pressed my lips together, inhaled a sharp breath, and tried to calm my senses.
In my head, I am already cursing out Zac who is still nowhere to be found. I swear I’m going to tell on him!
“You really should go away,” I told Kino as I looked at my wristwatch. “I better go,” I stood up and he immediately followed.
He held my wrist, making me stare at him with narrowed eyes. “I’ll drive you home,” he volunteered but it sounded like he hated telling me those words.
