My butt hit the floor with a resounding thud and I groaned. The force with which he used to shove me was unlike anything I had ever encountered.
The sound of chairs splintering beneath us echoed through the room as I pushed Nathan off me. When he came on top of me again, a surge of adrenaline coursed through my veins.
“Ugh!” Nathan groaned as I charged towards him.
With all my strength, I pushed him away and he fell into the shelves of books in a corner. As I stood over him, he grinned up at me with a twisted smile, his eyes ablaze with a mix of anger and malice.
"You think you've won, Aaron?" Nathan's voice was cold, sending shivers down my spine. "You have no idea what I'm capable of. I will make sure you regret this, I will destroy you!”
