"I can't remain tied to Aanya in that stupid bond of marriage between us," I told her honestly.
She was perplexed after she heard the words, as she looked at me in disbelief.
"Are you crazy? You can't do that, Aanya will be devastated. It will break her." She whispered.
"But I would be lying to her and you know damn well what we have for each other..." I wanted to yell and tell her about Aanya's betrayal, but I won't. Not yet.
"I mean it, Kaya. I want to get a divorce from her. I don't know what I am telling you this, but this is the f*****g truth." I added.
