THIRD PERSON'S POV
Aanya felt cold and frightened immediately. She could barely have the courage to tell her mother that her father is no more. Her tears had been swirling in her eyes. Although she was in panic and confusion, she tried to best to make her mother calm while she told her the news, "Mom, dad left us!"
That was it, her mother just froze at the moment. They were at the hospital, outside the hospital ICU where her father was brought after being shot by a police officer. Tears brimmed out of her mother's eyes, but she was not responding, as if she lost consciousness.
