15 - 15 - The room Shorack provided for Leopold was small but well-appointed. The bed was comfortable, there was a small food prep area and table, and a couple of easy-chairs‌—‌the fabric on both was worn in places, but the padding was still full, and Leopold almost dozed off when he first sat down. The chairs were placed to provide a view through the window. Shorack had assured Leopold that the glass was tinted, just like the glass in Genna’s tower‌—‌he could see out, but nobody could see in. Just like the window of his old office back in the Dome, although here there were no colourful flowerbeds and manicured lawns.
