44 - 44 - Paskia accepted Rodin’s silence. There would be time for talking later, when they were in more comfortable surroundings. Besides, it gave her the opportunity to think. She was free from the Dome. That thought flooded her mind. No longer would she need to hide what she truly felt. No longer would she have to fit into some arbitrary set of rules. She was free to do what she wanted. She wanted to collapse. As they walked her arms grew heavy, as if they were twice their normal size. She had felt something similar once before, after a marathon swim; when she left the water, it felt like her limbs still wanted to move, as if they couldn’t cope with being at rest.
