12 - 12 - The meeting with Farrock ended when the door opened and two men appeared. Maybe, Paskia thought, Farrock had summoned them. They took her to another room. Farrock led the way, keeping up a constant commentary, talking of things she already knew and things she had no desire to know. The two men followed silently. They were nondescript. That was the best description Paskia could come up with. They were of average build, wore grey trousers and jackets of plain design, and had black boots that shone. She tried to take in their faces, but when she turned away she could recall nothing. Kialah would have come up with a more apt one-word description. She was so much better at that game than Paskia.
