Brixton went inside the office, followed by Maddox behind him.
"Can you see this fvcking amount, Maddox? We're fvcking rich!" Brixton exclaimed and sat on the chair, putting his legs on the table while checking their bank account.
"Do we need to send the woman Vladimir bought today?" Maddox asked, sitting on the chair in front of Brixton.
"Yeah, that vampire specifically told us to deliver the woman today. It seems like he can't wait to touch her or something," Brixton said, smiling while admiring the amount of money displayed on the screen.
He could buy a lot of cars and women with this money!
"Tell Beth to prepare her and tell that old hag to shut her goddamn mouth. I caught her again talking to the goods," Brixton stated.
"Should I kill her now?" Maddox asked.
"No, we're going to be short on staff. Let her live. I let her off with a warning," Brixton said. "Now go and do what I'm telling you. We don't want to anger that vampire," he added. Maddox nodded and left the office.
Beth entered the room where Danaya was staying, still dressed in shabby clothes. Beth put the new dress on top of the table and began combing Danaya's hair.
"Please help me," Danaya desperately said, but the older woman kept a poker face. Danaya held Beth's hand and knelt on the floor.
"Please, I'm begging you," Danaya whispered, tears streaming down her face. Beth looked at the room's entrance, took the paper out of her pocket, and handed it to Danaya.
"I'm sorry, I can't help you escape. They will kill me and my family. Please understand."
Beth immediately took the paper back when Maddox entered.
"What are you doing?" Maddox asked and walked towards them. When no one answered, he grabbed Beth's hair.
"I asked, Beth," he said, making Beth yelp in pain.
"It's me; please don't hurt her. I tried talking to her, but she didn't answer. It's on me," Danaya said and gulped, seeing Maddox glare at her.
"Who gave you permission to do that?" Maddox asked.
"No one," she whispered.
"Beth, finish what you're doing," Maddox said, leaning against the wall, crossing his arms.
Beth finished getting Danaya dressed, and Maddox dragged her out of the room. Danaya struggled and made an unsuccessful attempt to break free from the man's hold. Maddox led her out of the building and to the rear alley, where a waiting car was. Maddox pushed her inside after opening the door.
"Lyon, Ralph, make sure that this woman won't escape," he said. Two men went inside the car, sitting side by side with Danaya, making her sit in the middle.
"Where to, Maddox?" the driver asked.
Maddox answered, "Montabard Castle. That woman was bought by Vladimir," and shut the door. The driver looked at the rear view mirror and shook his head as if regretting the fate of the woman.
"Poor lady, bought by the cruelest vampire. I'm sure she won't last a week," he said.
"Let's go, Mon. We don't want to be late in delivering this woman. Lord Vladimir might kill us," Lyon said. Mon nodded his head and started the car.
Danaya prayed to the sun god in silence. She prayed that a miracle would free her from her abductors, but when they reached the castle an hour and a half later, all of the hopes she had were shattered.
"Move!" Ralph said. Danaya's chain was forcibly pulled until she got out of the car. Ralph then handed her chain to Vladimir, who was already waiting outside the castle.
"Thank you for bringing her here," Vladimir said, grinning. Lyon and Ralph looked at each other; it seemed that the vampire was in a good mood.
"You're welcome, Lord Vladimir. Brixton expects your continued support for their business," Lyon said.
"Of course," Vladimir said, snapping his fingers in the air. Suddenly, his servants appeared, bringing two briefcases.
"Give it to Brixton. It's his bonus for taking good care of the healer I purchased," he said. Lyon and Ralph took the briefcases and bowed their heads.
"Thank you, Lord Vladimir," Lyon said. Vladimir turned around and then pulled Danaya into the castle.
"Please, let me go," Danaya begged, but Vladimir glanced at her, his eyes darkening.
"How dare you speak to your master without permission?" Vladimir said and stopped in his tracks, making Danaya flinched. He turned to face her and slapped her on the cheek.
"You need to be disciplined," he whispered as he roughly grabbed her jaw. "I bought you for a large sum, so you have to obey me," he added. Danaya was so scared that she couldn't say anything and allowed the man to drag her again until they arrived in a room.
Vladimir opened the door and pushed Danaya inside. She fell face down on the floor and groaned when Vladimir pulled her hair.
"I have tasted werewolves, wizards, witches, and humans, but not a healer. I wonder what the Nitira tribe tastes like," he whispered, licking her cheeks. Disgusted, Danaya closed her eyes. Her body was trembling in fear. Vladimir's hands traveled to her stomach, to her b0obs, up to her jaws, and harshly titled her head, sinking his fangs in her neck. Danaya screamed in pain as she kept wriggling her way out, but Vladimir sank his fangs deeper until Danaya fell unconscious. Vladimir finished drinking her blood and dropped her on the floor. His eyes were bloodshot red.
"Ahh! Fvcking tasty," he said as he laid his head back. Vladimir could feel his d*ck harden and licked his lips. He wanted more, but he doesn't want his high-priced healer to die just yet. Vladimir wanted to devour Danaya slowly. "You'll make a very good meal," he added.
"Put her in the basement and keep a close watch on her. I don't want my one billion to escape," Vladimir ordered. A servant appeared and carried Danaya out of the room.
Danaya woke up and found herself inside a cell, and the only light she had was from a small window outside her cell. Danaya immediately touched where the vampire bit her and hugged her knees, crying her heart out as she recalled her happy memories on the island.
"Haba, Haku, Uku, please guide me. I don't know what to do anymore. I wanted to go home on the island," she whispered, clutching her chest. "Give me strength to continue fighting," she added, but what Danaya hasn’t realized yet is that it was just the beginning of her ordeal.
