With the bang a cup of wine rolls on the floor. In a large room, everything was almost destroyed like a hurricane just passed from this room. Standing in front of a window Darren was shaking from anger. The anger caused by his humiliating defeat from Jaden. He just couldn't accept how a cripple who he used to bully, not only became stronger than him but also defeated him easily.

"How, how is this possible? How can a cripple like Jaden defeat me? Not only this guy didn't die from the fall but he came back as a cultivator. This is impossible".

Darren couldn't accept his defeat from Jaden. He was confused how that bastard became so strong in such a short period of time.

Victor seeing his grandson in such a state was quite unhappy but he didn't show it. He approached Darren and grabbed his shoulder. " Don't worry about it, he just got lucky. Unknown about the conspiracy against him, Jaden was having dinner with his father. Right after the Annual Clan Assessment ended, the Crown Prince left for the palace but not before congratulating Jaden and giving him a present.

William, Jaden and Mera were sitting on the dining table having dinner. To celebrate his son's winning, William ordered the kitchen staff to make all of Jaden's favourite food. It was more like a buffet not a dinner, the whole dining table was filled with different varieties of food.

Jaden was not surprised because he had already seen the same scene when his father ordered the same thing when he returned to the Clan. As they were having their dinner, William suddenly said, " Jaden, I can even express how happy I am today to see you became a promising Cultivator. Your mother would have been very proud of you if she was here".

"It's Ok father, I will continue to make you proud", Jaden replied. At first he wasn't that fond of this man who was the father of this body's previous owner, but later he accepted his after seeing the affection he had for him. He reminded Jaden of his father from his previous life.

Mera smiled and said, " Young Master, you were super awesome today. That jerk Darren didn't even know what hit him when he went against you in the arena. I will never forget the look on his face after his defeat."

Jaden chuckled and said, " I am quite sure he must be thrown a feat after such a humiliating defeat. "

William smiled and didn't say anything. He just eats while Mera and Jaden converse. He likes this atmosphere and spending time with Jaden and Mera. Mera may seem like a maid but she really isn't a maid. She is more like a daughter to him and little sister to Jaden. She just won't accept it any like being Jaden's maid.
