Departure

Few hours before dawn.

Lina got up from her stone bed and took out an essence bottle from her storage ring, then she walked where Jaden was sleeping. She got close to him and carefully sprayed the liquid inside the bottle on Jaden's face. This essence was the Infinite Dream potion. It was kind of a sleeping potion.

[ Beep! Warning Host, A foreign substance has invaded your respiratory system. The substance may cause deep sleep.] Vex tried to warn Jaden but the Infinite Dream potion was too powerful to prevent it from affecting Jaden's body. But It was too late, So it slowly started to purge the sleeping agent out of Jaden's body.

She then took out the Red Dragon Flowers, Gently holding the warm Red Dragon Flowers, Lina whispered, “Thank you.”

She put the Flowers back in the storage ring and took out a black coloured vest from her storage ring. Carrying the metal vest with both hands, Lina carefully placed it beside the sleeping Jaden. In a soft voice, she muttered, “This Black vest was made from a meteorite ore. Its defensive strength is determined by its owner’s strength. Although your strength is only that of a Body Refining realm, even a Foundation Establishment Realm’s attack cannot easily hurt you… You have helped me a couple of times, so consider this your reward.”

After properly placing the vest, Lina tilted her head and mused for a moment. She then took out two things, one scroll and second a badge from her storage ring, placed them on the vest and said softly: “This is a scroll containing a High grade Black rank Qi Method and this badge is the Diamond Badge used in Golden Fortune Pavilion. I hope that these will help you in the future.”

Once she securely placed the things, Lina stood beside Jaden. Her pretty eyes felt an unknown feeling. She stared at the delicate and handsome young man’s face and a helpless bitter smile suddenly surfaced on her pretty face. "I wish we had more time".

“Uh, we will meet again if we are destined to, Jaden” Sighing gently, Lina lowered her body and lightly pecked her lips on Jaden’s lips. The Golden Wings behind her flapped and she gracefully swept into the sky.

On the rock surface, a faint fragrance remained but the beauty had already left.

When Jaden emerged from his sleep, it was already noon. Slowly opening his eyes and lightly moving his fingers, the expected pain didn’t appear. In fact, there was an energized feeling within his body.

This comfortably enriched feeling caused him to breathe out deeply. Slightly moving his head, a tidy pile of black colored metal vest and a scroll and badge appeared before his eyes.

Looking at these items, he was at first confused. Soon after, he sat up in a flash of understanding. His eyes furiously roved around his surroundings but he was unable to find that graceful and elegant figure. A sense of loneliness and depression started to appear on the youth’s face

“Gone already?” Bitterly laughing, he weekly laid on the stone beside him. After narrowing his eyes for quite some time, he lazily reached out to take the metal vest that was arranged neatly. Holding it with his palm, the vest strangely held some warmth and was not cool. Jaden’s hands lightly touched the vest and found that it was soft as silk, extremely weird.

Pulling the metal vest into his embrace, he raised his head and looked at the entrance of the cave, the smile on his mouth was a little bitter, “Ah, She must have left in a hurry to save her senior sister. I thought she would at least say goodbye to me before leaving, and won't leave like this".

"Vex, Why am I waking up this late?", Jaden asked the one person he could get his answers from, Vex.

Forcefully shaking his head, Jaden settled the scroll and badge into the ring depressedly. " It's fine, next time if this kind of situation arises, you have my full authorization to take control of the situation and protect me".
