Golden Tyrant Wolf

Bang!

Followed by a huge sound so powerful that it made the earth shake, a huge Golden Striped Tiger clashed into a huge tree and fell onto the ground. A big hole could be seen in the Golden Striped Tiger’s head. Next to the Golden Striped Tiger stood a young man wearing a regular white robe with a Beast Core in his hand. A slight upwards curve on his lips showed that he was satisfied.

This young man was Jaden. After killing the Earth Dragon, the Golden Striped Tiger was the third 8th Stage Body Refining realm Demon Beast he had killed.

Jaden didn’t waste anything as he completely absorbed the beast core. Unfortunately, after absorbing all three 8th stage Body Refining realm Beast Cores, he didn't advance to 10th stage Body Refining realm. In just five days Jaden advanced from 7th to 9th stage in the Body Refining realm.

“The stronger my inner potential is, the more resources I will need. Looks like I will need to search for Demon Beasts above my current level. Besides, in order to reach the 10th stage Body Refining realm, I think I will need to kill at least 5 10th stage Demon beasts to advance.”

Jaden thought to himself. Right now he had gone two hundred miles into the forest, but he had yet to meet any strong Demon Beasts. He had also not met any Demon Beasts above the Body Refining realm.

“Although this area of the forest is large, it is still located at the border. It’s very hard to find a strong Demon Beast here, and it’s even harder to find a Demon Beast above the Body Refining realm.”

Jaden shook his head. The natural energy in a place represented the amount of resources which had a powerful influence on warriors and Demon Beasts.

All of a sudden, Jaden felt a threatening glare targeted at his back. The feeling of being observed was so sharp, one must know that after he completely mastered the Titan Overlord Fist Technique, Jaden gained a terrifying surge in the level of his perceptiveness. Although Jaden could not be 100% sure of where the glare originated from, he could roughly sense the location and the distance between them.

“Towards the south, 45 degrees to the left, behind the Agarwood tree.” This was what Jaden could sense. However, regarding that glare, he was unable to determine whether it was a beast or a human.

Under the setting sun, within the shadows casted by the trees in the forest, Jaden concentrated. He could see the shadow of a beast shaped head materializing. The shape vaguely resembled a wolf. An extremely massive wolf.

Jaden was fairly certain of his guess, only wolves would be so cunning and patient to wait for the right time to ambush him

Energy infusing his body, Jaden wanted to bait the wolf out. This was a Qi Condensing realm Demon beast. Jaden remained calm and didn't make any unnecessary movements.

To provoke the beast, Jaden picked up a pebble and transferred the energy that he had gathered to the pebble in his left hand, flicking the stone out with a speed akin to a burst of lightning, targeting the shadow of the wolf head.

“Pa!” a wave of soil dislodged, forming a cloud of dust at the area of impact.

At the exact same moment, that huge shadow burst out, savagely surging forward.

This was a Golden Tyrant Wolf! With a body of 3m long, and a height of 1.5m, its huge body appeared not to be affected by the laws of gravity as it was agile beyond belief. Its whole body was releasing a killing intent, and brimming with tyrannical might!

That pair of eyes was filled with madness, unexpectedly also carrying a hint of caution. It waited no longer and pounced towards Jaden with the speed of the wind.
