Annual Clan Assessment

Although Jaden was only at the skill level of the Peak of the Qi Condensing Realm, he could contend against the warriors at the level of the Final State.

However, Jaden stopped practicing for the next realm, the Final State. He understood that even if he attained the level of the Final State, he could only open up 16 Meridians at most.

“I have to find ways to improve my physique. If I lose at the starting line, how can I ever fight against real powerful cultivators?”

While walking out of his room, he saw Mera standing outside the door.

“Mera, is today the date for the Annual Clan Assessment?” Jaden asked.

“Right!”

Mera nodded her head with a little nervousness and said, “Young Master, please do take care of yourself! I heard that Darren Shiba has reached the peak Stage of the Qi Condensing Realm. If he knew you were also a Body Refining warrior, he would definitely embarrass you on purpose.”

“Don’t worry about me. It doesn’t matter so much.” Jaden asked with a slight smile,

Mera said to herself, “If Clan Head knew that the young master was already a Qi Condensing Realm Cultivator, he would be very pleased.”

“Young Master, please let me put the robe on you. Now, you can go to the Clan Coliseum down the Mountain,” Mera said.

Then, Jaden found that Mera was holding a bronze salver, on which was stacked a suit of black robes with golden embroidery and a golden Four arm Titan on its backside, a cap, one jade belt, and a pair of golden black boots.

After practicing and refining his body for four months, Jaden had already changed into a whole new look. Tremendous changes took place in his somatotype and temperament. He was no longer what he used to be, radiating a heroic spirit of youth.

He brimmed over with health and spirits the instant that he put on the royal boa robe and cap. His face was too noble to describe.

“Young Master, you… you really look like a prince!” Mera stared at Jaden with her heart beating continually. With two blushes of red appearing on her cheeks, she could not help being attracted by his temperament.

Jaden smiled and said, “Mera, let’s go to the Clan Coliseum!”

Mera nodded slightly and said, “You are right, We need to hurry up.”

The Clan Coliseum was built beneath the Mountain.

The Annual Clan Assessment was a meeting for the Shiba Family that ranked only second to the Head Selection Ceremony. Even the Crown Prince secluded himself to attend the Annual Clan Assessment.

Before dawn, clan members rushed to the Clan Coliseum early enough to wait for the presence of the Clan Head and Crown Prince.

With a trimmed mustache, the Crown Prince sat at the highest position of the Martial Arts arena, looking 40 years old. He glanced at the geniuses of Shiba Clan and said with a smile, “Marcus Shiba doesn’t come back, does he?”

The First Elder, who was sitting next to the Crown Prince, answered, “Your Majesty, Marcus sent a letter half a month ago to inform us that he won’t come back, for he has to handle a vital issue. Besides, in light of his martial cultivation, it makes no sense for him to attend the Annual Clan Assessment!”

“Marcus’s absence lowers my expectations of this Annual Clan Assessment.” The Crown Prince was a little disappointed.

Victor Shiba, the grandfather of Marcus Shiba and Adam Shiba, said, “Your Majesty, although Marcus is absent, Jaden will attend this year.”

“Oh, is that true? Jaden?” The Crown Prince turned his eyes to Concubine Lin.

The Third Elder said with a smile, “Jaden unlocked the Bloodline Limit three months ago.”

The Crown Prince was quite pleased since this assessment may get interesting.

William smiled and said, "My friend just took it as a surprise because even I don't know how strong my son is after his Bloodline awakening".

"Well, where is he? I want to meet him. After all, he may surprise us today. I am very excited for the assessment", said the crown prince while looking for Jaden.

“Everyone is here except Jaden. Huh! It seems he has changed a lot after the Bloodline awakening. We all have to wait for him!” Darren Shiba laughed coldly.

At this moment, dressed in a dashing robe, Jaden stepped up along the tall stone steps and said, “Darren, is it really a good thing to say something bad behind my back?”
