Jaden & Lina

After treating her, he left the cave to hunt for food. The sun was getting down and he needed to eat something after all the fighting. One hours later, Jaden returned with a few fish and chicken. This will be their dinner tonight. After entering the cave, he saw that the mysterious lady who was originally lying on the stone bed was now resting as she sat idly on a slab of rock. As she saw Jaden return, she could not help but faintly smile and say, “You’ve returned.” Jaden smiled as he nodded in reply. He walked closer and took out a few fish and chicken he had caught from the river and the small forest near the cave, from the Storage Ring. He seated himself on the ground, lit a fire and casually asked “Are you better now?” The mysterious lady slowly stood up, bringing waves of faint fragrance as she arrived at Jaden’s side. Slightly knitting her black brows, she lightly sighed, “Flesh wounds are not a big problem but undoing the seal of my meridians will need at least a few days.” “Well you can stay here and just focus on undoing the seal.” Skewering the fish and children on sticks, Jaden placed them on a rack over the flame and then turned his head to gaze upon the mysterious lady beside him. Because the silk dress worn by the lady was already in tatters, she was currently wearing Jaden’s white gown. When others wore it, it looked somewhat heavy on them, yet, on her body, the fine curves on her exquisite figure added a mysterious charm to it. As she moved with graceful steps, a section of her jade, snow white calves were faintly discernible, a rather enchanting sight. Gracefully seating herself, the beautiful eyes of the mysterious lady stared at Jaden as he continuously sprinkled seasoning on the fish and chicken, smiling while she said, “You have guts. To dare to enter the inner area of the Magical Beast Forest with the strength of a Body Refining realm.” “No choice, I was forced here.” Jaden smiled, turning back his head to ask, “Right, what’s your name?” “Lina.” The mysterious lady replied with a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eyes. “Jaden.” From the jade bottle, Jaden sprinkled some meticulously matched up seasoning as he casually answered. The lady who called herself Lina did not bother to check the validity of Jaden's words. Although her power was now sealed, a young man who only had the strength of a Body Refining realm was clearly of no danger to her. And besides he was the one who saved her from those scums. This brief conversation slowly ended on that note. Having lost their topic, the two sunk into a silent atmosphere until Jaden offered the barbeque fish and chicken in his hand to Lisa while she lightly nodded her head gratefully. Tearing off a small piece of chicken meat, Lina’s red lips slightly wiggled. The graceful posture in which she slowly ate caused Jaden to feel inferior at his unmannered style of eating. “You are an Alchemist?” Lina’s gaze swept over the small jade bottles to Jaden’s side, a sense of astonishment in her voice. “Uh, doctor……” Jaden swallowed the food in his mouth,he wasn't an alchemist yet so he simply introduced himself as a doctor. “Oh.” Slightly inclining her head in understanding. the astonishment in Lina’s eyes gradually faded away. Although there wasn’t much of a difference between how the two professions were named, between an Alchemist and a Doctor, the difference in status was like heaven and earth. While eating Jaden asked Lina," Miss Lina, you are a Foundation Establishment Realm Cultivator, so can you give me some knowledge about Cultivation and different types of Cultivators. I am kind of new to all this." Jaden knew the basics from what he learned from the books, so he needed the other information from an actual cultivator. Lina just looked at Jaden and replied, " Well I don't have any problem telling you about it. Let's start, as you are a doctor so you may know a little about alchemists. In the cultivation world, there were four types of cultivators with a very special status. Their status was even higher than that of ordinary cultivators. The Alchemist could refine spirit elixir and pills. There were numerous kinds of elixirs and pills with a wide scope of usage. To cultivators, elixirs and pills were indispensable. The Armament Refiners could refine various types and grades of spirit weapons. To cultivators, spirit weapons could significantly improve their ability and were also indispensable. The Seal Master could create magical seals. The Armour Seal that Lina used to block the attacks of Nether Frost Sect cultivators earlier was one of such seals. Without the Armour Seal, Lina would have long been defeated and captured due to the state she was in because of Purple Aroma Powder. The Array Formation Master was proficient in the formation of arrays. Many of the major clans had major defensive array formations. If the cultivators were to fall into any of the arrays set up by opponents, they would be restrained everywhere and their lives might even be threatened. Of course, the prerequisite for becoming one of these four types of cultivators was the possession of a spirit root and becoming a Qi Condensing realm cultivator."
