"Well, where is he? I want to meet him. After all, he may surprise us today. I am very excited for the assessment", said the crown prince while looking for Jaden.
“Everyone is here except Jaden. Huh! It seems he has changed a lot after the Bloodline awakening. We all have to wait for him!” Darren Shiba laughed coldly.
At this moment, dressed in a dashing robe, Jaden stepped up along the tall stone steps and said, “Darren, is it really a good thing to say something bad behind my back?”
With an imposing appearance, Jaden walked up to Darren, giving him a sharp glare.
Clenching his fist, Darren looked quite furious. How dare Jaden speak to him in such a tone? He was so unruly!
Jaden shook his sleeves and moved forward. When he saw the Crown Prince sitting at the top, he bowed to him and said, “Please allow me to pay my respects to Your Majesty!”
The Crown Prince stood up from his seat. He looked at Jaden and said, “It seems that you have already awakened the bloodline and raised your strength from a mere mortal to a strong and promising Cultivator. You look quite different now, the Bloodline is quite strong in you. Are you ready for the Annual Clan Assessment?”
With a firm expression in his eyes, Jaden said without being servile or bumptious, “Certainly!”
“Okay! Haha! You are brave enough! I like your son , William. You got a backbone kid, I like it.” The Crown Prince roared with laughter.
This was a world to honor warriors. The real superiors were those who were strong-willed, backboned, and haughty.
If Jaden had behaved timidly and shrinking at their meeting, the Crown Prince would not have thought highly of him, even though he awakened the Clan Bloodline. The reason for the Crown Prince's such a good attitude is because the Shiba Clan and Royal Family are related by blood, they both have the Titan Blood flowing in their veins. The more promising the new generation is, the better it would be for the future of the Titan Empire.
Kneeling on the ground, Darren Shiba clenched his fist and glared at Jaden. He said to himself. “Jaden, just enjoy it! At the Annual Clan Assessment, I will destroy you and let you know who the real superior is!”

Warriors under the age of 20 had to be exclusively approved to participate in the Annual Clan Assessment.
All the top geniuses under the age of 29 would join. Except for Marcus, who was currently out of Imperial City, the remaining would all attend the Annual Clan Assessment.
Aside from the top geniuses, the clan could also pick the three most outstanding warriors to join the Annual Clan Assessment.
The clan members gradually made their way and gathered the boundary of the Clan Coliseum, forming into alignment.
There were some significant people in Imperial City such as warriors of the Earth Immortal Realm, the Masters of the Armaments, and the leader of a large-scale family. They were all invited to behold the assessment at the Clan Coliseum.
The pretty and coquettish woman, Tara, was also invited to the assessment. Han Shen followed behind Tara and asked, “Boss, the Shiba Clan has sent the invitations to Golden Pill Pavilion every year. Yet, you have never attended. Why do you want to watch it this year? I don’t understand.”
Despite the fact it was winter, Tara was wearing a red blooming dress as one would in summer’s heat. It exposed her snow-white arms and sensuous collarbone.
There was a faint smile of attraction in Tara’s eyes and her lips were rosy and glittering. She responded to Han Shen, “When you meet someone that you are interested in, of course, you want to know more about him.”
Han Shen was shocked and asked, “The one you are referring to is Young Master Jaden?”
“Haha! Do you think there is anyone else apart from him?” Tara responded with a smile.
After Jaden visited Golden Pill Pavilion two months ago, Tara had sent a secret agent to track him.
What shocked Tara was that the young man, who had shown such a strong determination to succeed, had not acquired the bloodline in the past 16 years. Rather, he was as ordinary as any citizen of the capital and the worst part was that he got bullied by kids from his generation not only that ame adults also jon them and humiliated Jaden.
Tara discovered the wretched situation of Jaden inside the Shiba Clan, as well as the conflicts between Jaden's family and the First Elder's family.
